John is the managing program coordinator for corporate partners and sponsorships, as well as the primary grant writer for the AAF. Under his leadership, the Lexus Smooth Jazz Fest has become one (1) of the most anticipated summer events to experience in the Lexington-Bluegrass Region...and has been established as the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s destination for Smooth Jazz!
He has a twenty-eight (28) year track record of presenting arts and cultural events across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He has served on numerous boards across the Lexington-Bluegrass Region. Along with his wife Debbie, they have built the AAF into the partner of choice for presenting events and programs that are truly multicultural and exceed all expectations of being diverse and inclusive.
Debbie is the managing program coordinator for marketing and public relations as well as the exclusive voice of the AAF in all electronic media. She has over thirty-five (35) years of experience in presenting arts and cultural events across the Commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond. She is currently the program and music director for WJAZ-DB (an online radio station in which she owns proprietary rights) in partnership with F&F Communications, Inc.
She has been a program and music director for radio stations in Greater Louisville/Southern Indiana in addition to the Lexington-Bluegrass region. Notwithstanding, she was mentored by the legendary “Wolfman” Jack while earning her communications degree in music from the prestigious Columbia School of Broadcasting in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She has promoted concerts and multi-cultural events in Lexington, Louisville, Southern Indiana, and Honolulu, Hawaii. Alongside her husband, John, they have built the AAF into the partner of choice for presenting activities, events, and programs that are truly multicultural, and exceed all expectations of being diverse and inclusive.
